CoThinkk Awards S.A.W. $4,000 Grant

At CoThinkk’s annual gala in November we were thrilled to receive a $4,000 grant in recognition of how S.A.W. is creating systemic change in our community. It was powerful being at the gala with many other creative and driven Brown and Black leaders, and to hear the stories of other community initiatives that are creating local impact.

This grant money comes just in time as S.A.W. is ramping up to launch its first series of workshops in 2024. We’ll use the money to buy tools and equipment such as speedsquares and protective eyewear for the students, promotional materials such as a banner and business cards, and other necessities to fully launch in this new year.
